Toad looking at us in “Spin Jump” looks so cursed

Just going by what the animation was called internally, there.

OMG!! Thank you super luigi! I’ve been wondering what they were for this whole time
Change “roll” to “shot from cannon”

@Pipro8049 I believe the roll sprites are used for when getting shot out of a cannon after beating the last level of each world within Super Worlds. as for Luigi looking up in the balloon mini-game, it is probably unused considering no one else has it.

@Pipro8049: If you need it to be smaller for a different program, then that's not that difficult to do yourself.
And I've been using the same program for my sprite submissions for the past 20-ish years -- Paint Shop Pro 7. Not specifically intended for pixel art, but lightweight and reliable enough that it's been my go-to program all these years.

@Jod Dan and Ignis: I think the roll sprites and Luigi looking up in balloon mini game are unused.

This is too tall to be usable for Pixel Studio.
@RTB, what pixel art software do you use for these rips?

@Its-A-Me_Austin funnily enough, its the opposite for me, but i like both sprites for Luigi tbh

Take from the depths of Kīlauea:
I prefer Luigi's Super Mario Maker 2 design over the one used in Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World

@GreenTelevisionGames Something to note is that the colo(u)r of the Joy-Cons don't matter; it just requires two of them in general.

For those wondering why there is a buzzy and spiny bubble at the bottom of sheet, there is a glitch where you can place a shelmet on Mario in editor mode. It only works in co-op making. With the green joy-con, place a P-balloon and hold it with the green joy-con. With the red joy-con, open the item menu on Mario. With the green joy-con, drag the P-balloon to Mario. Then with the red joy-con, select a shelmet or dry bones shell from the item menu.

The palette seems to be a blend between the ones from the SNES Super Mario World and the GBA Super Mario Advance 2.

What are the roll sprites used for? And also, why is Luigi looking up in the balloon minigame?

I hack SMW and happened to notice a small oddity with the sprite for the P-Balloon. If you compare the two, the Balloon is almost identical but is tinted gold in the original. This is because the Balloon in the original uses sprite palette 8, while the palette it uses in SMM2 is actually SMW’s sprite palette A (the 10th palette, the palettes are in Hex), and if you change the sprite’s palette to palette A, it would be identical to the one in SMM2.

@SuperMarioMakerDS: Just calling it by what it's named internally! :P

For the Yoshi sprites, I think "Swallow" would make more sense than "Drink"

I know it would take a lot of work, but I think Yoshi should get his own sheet that has both the disassembled parts, and the fully assembled frames

@mark654: You're absolutely right. I had it wrong all this time since I ripped the SMB3 sprites before these and used that as a template for the arrangement, somehow forgetting that those sprites had a different context in SMW despite having the same filenames. It's been fixed now, and the sheet's been re-arranged slightly to compensate (and unintentionally make it inconsistent with others' customs in the process).

Shouldn't the "swim idle" sprites actually be called "carry item + swim"?

ye that would have been epic, especially with the new power ups as well!
