Goes against what's on this page but I guess that's fine. (Other the fact that almost all of the partners in the game are temporary)
It SHOULDN'T count Captain T. Ode, is the thing. He's only as much of a "partner" as Kolorado and Flint Cragley, two other characters who accompany you through parts of a chapter but don't actually follow behind you and are never a part of your party.
Still wouldn't count Captain T. Ode...
Well the partners show up in the menu, right?
That definition doesn't work, as that wouldn't count Captain T. Ode and would count Spike, Bone Goomba, and the 40 Toads from the Temple of Shrooms.
In this game, of what I know is that a Partner is someone that follows you around, that is also used for the story
What is considered a "Partner" in this game? Of course, it's very intuitive what should count as a partner and what shouldn't but I would like to see a clean definition that accounts for everything because I can't think of one.

Question, are we getting sounds and models of this game or just sprites? Just curious...

I’m really hoping that the sprites here can be redrawn in HD for people who wish to print them out and make actual origami replicas of the Toad origami in the game. Wouldn’t that be neat?
