Yep. It's basically your Castlevania clone with a Hannah-Barbera flavor to it.

memes aside, this game is
... certainly a game
... certainly a game

GRAND DAD-

@Moo Moo Armageddon
Back in 2020 when I uploaded some of the levels, I had originally ripped these for a friend. I figured "might as well upload them to Spriters Resource so they're available to everyone." But since this was literally my first time ripping level backgrounds, my sprite sheet for level 1 sucked and was kind of inaccurate, and was rightfully rejected. The waterfall level and the Jetsons level are also missing, because those ones had a looooot of animated tiles that I didn't want to deal with.
TLDR: I am lazy.

i hated that grand dad bootleg

@EmRuHire Not really outside of having the same publisher. Taito outsourced their games very often, a very few console games back then were done in house (usually their go to companies are ITL and Natsume), and even their arcade games were outsourced unlike Namco, Capcom and Konami that mostly used their staff (Sega sometimes outsourced). A little known company called Sol really developed the game, outside of various Japanese only SNES/PS1/Saturn games and the other Flintstones game on the NES (and the SNES, the Genesis and Game Boy games Taito got someone else) is really just the Snow Bros. NES port.

Where's stage 1?

All the Flintstones & 7 Grand Dad jokes aside, I just realized that this game is made by the same people of Bubble Bobble.

It's not just NES games, it's just like... 89% of the games on here that don't have one sheet with "everything" on it.

Yeah, so many incomplete games on the NES that need work, Sanic.

so... are we never going to get tilesets? I just might High quality Rip em' myself.

I think I see what you did there.

This game is grand.

@KirbyLover2048/smedis2: I'm working on ripping pretty much everything I can from this and its sequel, don't worry.

It's kinda shocking how we have the gameplay sprites of this game ripped in the 7 Grand Dad bootleg, but not this one. It's just weird.

i like how we have grand dad but not the actual sprites from this

a gay ol' time

A yabba-dabba-doo time.

It's the Flintstones!

A.K.A. the game that became an infamous Mario bootleg.
