after seeing the rocky wrench in mario maker so many times this ones just look off to me

@Alfred Look in the lower right. That's how the green palette appears in castle levels.

Why there are Koopas with blue sheels?

Is there a separate graphic for Goombas when they're peeking out of the shoes?

Thanks, I'll get that fixed.
These were ripped using YY-CHR followed by applying NEStopia's palette. It's the most accurate to the raw image of an NES, at least in my opinion, and it's also the most common NES emulator I use. If I use FCEUX (which by default has a really bright and saturated palette) then it's just to check how sprites are loaded and animated.

You misspelled Rocky Wrench as "Rocket Wrench." So what emulator were these ripped from? It doesn't seem to be the same one that the tiles were ripped from....and do some emulators give the red a super-bright garish shade? Because a few older rips I've seen used that sort of color.

That shouldn't be too hard to add- there's enough space on the sheet to add upwards facing Venus Fly Traps so I'll put that in for a new reversion.

Not to nitpick, but Piranha Plants can look up. Those sprites aren't on here.

At some point if I get down to it, I’ll add color palettes.

OK then. If I had one minor thing to request added, I'd say a sort of key to say which palettes are used in which environments might be a little handy, or at least neat. But yes, thanks for the accurate sheet, I was growing a little tired of seeing sickly-tinted versions of the Goomba sprites.

OH! Okay, I see my error now. Thanks for that, that’ll go on the list of updates for the next revision.
(Edit: I checked multiple ROMs of SMB3 and all of them repeat the same sprite. Japanese, US, and both PRG0 and PRG1 of each region, in addition to the European version, use the "side is facing the camera" sprite.
I'll have to take the All Stars version of that sprite and remake it in NES format, since it's not in the NES original.

Note how the rim of the shells of Troopa and Buzzy have an "indented area facing the camera" pose, while Spiny's is shown with two "side is facing the camera" graphics. I know that in later versions, Spiny's shell also has an "indented part of rim facing the camera" frame, so I assumed that's the case here too.

Is that so? I’ll have to take a look.
(EDIT) I checked and I didn't notice anything wrong with the Spinies' sprites.

I think there's also something wrong with the current Spiny Shell sprites, there's a repeated frame that has a completely different-looking Buzzy Beetle counterpart...

As far as I can tell, only red variants ever appear, except for 4-6 where there's green ones. I'll have them in for the next update.
As for the Thwomp, the grey color was added for the sake of matching with the Dry Bones' palettes (as they appear together in a number of stages otherwise)
And yes, the cyan palettes occupy the same space as the green palettes when in fortress levels, while the airship levels' cyan is more a sky blue.

Wait, doesn't the Piranhacus Giganticus appear green in one level? I thought it did...could be wrong, though. Is the primarily-grey Thwomp ever used?
Also, I'm assuming the various cyan palettes are in the same palette group as the green ones, but used specifically for ship, tank, and fortress levels, while the two greens are for the other locations, background-dependent?

Oh finally! A good rip!

Thank ya kindly! :D

I had no idea. Also, awesome job with this, man!

Yup, The ones without keys are from the airship stages.
