If you look at this video, you'll see that the sprite palette used by Buzzy Beetles is slightly different from the background palette used by stationary blocks.
You may also notice that the outline changes color temporarily after hitting a block. This is because a block turns into a sprite after being hit so that it can bob up and down. That sprite does share a palette with Buzzy Beetles.

Sorry, but that ain't right. The buzzy shares its palette with the bricks.

The Buzzy Beetle in the thumbnail isn't supposed to be red.
