SMBLB = Super Monkey Ball: Lost Bananas

@806mtson
I'll take that as a compliment that you'd go through all that trouble lol.

Ughh, I made an Account just to say, those were some bad puns.

This game didn't add much other than a Powerdown...
Nintendo reusing everything will be their Demise.
Nintendo reusing everything will be their Demise.

It's amazing how Nintendo reuses things 🤨

Icefinity, This game is called SMB2TLL

I call it NOTHING

I'd call this Super Super Mario Bros. (because Nintendo sequels tend to start with Super)

I call it PAIN.

And I call it TLL

I call smb2 for the Famicom Disk System Super Mario Bros 2 Japan and smb2 for the Nintendo Entertainment System Super Mario USA, so there's no confusion despite the fact I live in the USA.

I call it SMBLL.

I respectfully call it; Super Mario Bros 2: The Lost Levels.

i have a pending submisson for this game

We have Super Mario Bros. Now we have the official Kaizo Mario Bros. I love this game for difficulty.

@Doc von Schmeltwick No, it runs on stock Famicom/NES hardware, VS Super Mario Bros is the one with the weird palette since it uses the VS system hardware, which is a little different than Famicom/NES

So, to clarify, does this game use a distinct palette from the first, if played on the same system and television?

I would call it SMB2J (Super Mario Bros. 2 Japan)

@ZiggyTheZombieHedgie In Japan, this was their SMB2. We call it The Lost Levels.

Could the name just be Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels?
