man me a sand

I watched Max G's (hotdiggedydemon) video and it made me smile a bit when I saw him squashed

The 7th sprite on the 2nd row is when you hack the game and you win by decision

what the hell is with the 7th sprite on the 2nd row?

Didn't Mr. Sandman Have a version with Green shorts from a promo for Mike Tyson's Punch-Out

It can't be meant for Bald Bull because the tiles would erase part of his chin (it goes lower than Mr. Sandman's)
EDIT: It's supported in the rom data by the fact that the victory sprites are stored in the order of Bald Bull's head+body, followed by Mr. Sandman's face, then the pointing sprites.

I don't believe they weren't meant for Bald Bull. If the tiles for the sprite are as it looks here (I've never seen them in memory...and I tried digging through the ROM banks but never found the specific tiles), you can very easily paste them onto Bald Bull. The only noticeable difference is a misconstrued line on the fist. When I say "difference" I mean something that someone would actively notice, since it does *look* necessarily correct. It is possible that maybe he was supposed to rapidly keep pointing in the animation? But I kind of doubt they planned for him to point so much (On the single frame where Bull's head is raised, no less) that it would look dumb. I'd think this could be a planned Bald Bull sprite.

The pointing version of the victory pose is unused. The tiles for it don't match Bald Bull, so I believe it was meant for Mr. Sandman specifically, but for one reason or another it was never implemented.

Woah, I've never seen that victory sprite ever. Where is it used?

It needs the full uppercut

Why doesn't this sheet have all the sprites?
