Ah yes, Another Pac-Man game on the NES that Namco refuses to publish.

I agree with Yawackhary, not really a fan of this use of "bootleg" in game names on here as of late

@BrianFanTheHedgefox For most of the NES era, Tengen were not licensed publishers/developers for Nintendo making it in their view a bootleg. Pac-Man was licensed though as it was one of their 3 games that were along with RBI Baseball and Gauntlet before Tengen decided to break the protection chip as they were frustrated by the 5 game limit. Ms. Pac-Man was released after that. (Some did get a licensed re-release such as Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, some were licensed in Japan such as KLAX and Super Sprint).
Unlicensed would be a better word to use.

All Tengen titles are technically bootlegs since they were official Nintendo releases. However, some were licensed later on.

Tengen Ms Pac-Man is not a bootleg!
