you forgot the small milon death sprite
Even the graphics remind me of SMB1.
@RaguRando I know there's a bootleg hack of the original Mario Bros that has Mario replaced with Milon floating around somewhere.
To think the sequel would be so much better.
He looks more like a combination of Link and Mario.

More like "Noddy's Secret Castle". Also, it looks like they ripped sprites from SMB1 and edited them (including "normal" [non-Super] ones, which makes me wonder: Would there be enough sprites to hack him into said game?)
