I’m willing to update with MESEN pallets if I can, I just don’t know how to do anything :/

Sorry to bother with a stupid question, I’m new here, but how do you change from FCEUX to MESEN palette?

Classic Link is so iconic

@HerofLegend Because the gray would bleed. Anyway, I personally prefer the MESEN palette over the FCEUX palette, since the latter is garish and blends poorly.

I'm confused on the hot pink backgrounds

@Doc von Schmeltwick It's the default FCEUX palette, which I use for all of my NES rips.

Colors sure are bright on this, wonder what emulator settings were used?

Imo the palette on the old sheet was better

@MacaroniFFS As John B. said, it is a nice thing to credit the person who ripped the sprites you're using. I mean I can't force you to, but it'd be nice. Also, what exactly do you think is missing from this sheet? From what I can tell I've gotten every sprite for Link right there, as well as all the items and weapons he uses. Perhaps your issue is the lack of differently colored Link sprites, such as when he's wearing the Blue and Red rings? Well, that's because it's be redundant and a waste of space. Besides, that's what the hurt colors section is for. It provides all of the palettes that Link could ever use, so all you'd need to do is recolor them.

It's nice to credit the ripper for all the time and work they put into the sheet.
Also feel free to submit a revision to add the sprites you think may be missing, this is a community after all.

i would use these sprites, but i don't know if i want to give credit to sprites from a video game you didn't make.
Also you're missing a bunch of stuff.
sheet's just pretty meh in general

@CaptainGame The NES has no true "right" palette, though MANY sprites were ripped back in the day on bad emulators that actually DID have them as outright wrong, and that tends to confuse people used to them.

Where's the sprites with link getting hurt?

Um... what's the point of the red, blue, and B&W blast rings? And where's the green link w/ white (L-2) and Magical (L-3) swords?
Also, why are all those items there? And is that link holding a boomerang?

Is there a way to save this file without a white background? The white makes it difficult to use when the sprite contains white on it's edges.
