They shouldn't be, now.
The game involves giant robot dinosaurs, and uses tiny sprites, so everything looks pretty shrunken in the actual game.
That said, when I first sent these in, the hosting service I used for some reason resized the images. It should be properly resolved now, TSR staff was quick to help me get that fixed. Be sure to click on the sheet to view it full sized(some of the levels are just a little too long for TSR format).
If there are still problems, the level images at least are shown properly on VGMaps. I'm JW% over there.
