A new threat if they ever would do a revival is a corrupt bird spewing nothing but lies. While it's a physical manifestation of Twitter, the site is a byproduct of a slow and uneasy corruption in a government that can no longer be relied upon.

Eeeh, not really. We all know nuclear power is dangerous. The Japanese hate it for a good reason, some places in Russia are too radioactive to enter at all, and we in Australia never have it due to environmental reasons. (In fact it's banned entirely here)

I mean, considering the fact that he was a relic of a time where people irrationally feared nuclear power, it'd be odd to use him anyway. The other villains' problems have at least remained problems, to an extent.

Oh yeah. Because of the more famous Duke Nukem. Warner Bros, would have to change this one's name if a reboot were ever to happen as they legally cannot use it anymore.
"You'll pay for this, Apogee Software!" - Ted Turner after finding out they beat him at registering it. (Not really, but it would've been funny)

i was going to make a "SHOCKER I'LL CHASE YOU TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH" joke because that's what he looked like, then i scrolled down and saw his actual name and i think it's infinitely funnier

"Who the fuck thinks about this spunk-pincher when you say 'Duke Nukem'? No one! But in 1991 this was widely accepted among Captain... Planet... fans?..." (Literally who?) - Civvie 11

MY NAME IS DUKE NUKEM
I'M A NUCLEAR SHARK
I'M HOTTER THAN ELVIS
AND I GLOW IN THE DARK

@RaposaCadela I did have concerns whether the icon would be approved because of the flashing, but I wanted it to be fairly accurate to how he looks in-game.

THE ORIGINAL DUKE NUKEM!! Omg! In retrospect it's so funny because, who thinks of this guy when you say "Duke Nukem"?

Man that thumbnail is gonna give someone a seizure....

Then they learned that despite Cap'Planet's creators putting a TM on his name, they didn't actually hold a trademark on him. The rest is history.

This Duke Nukem actually predates Apogee's Duke Nukem. Apogee found out he existed late in development of the first game, so some revisions are called "Duke Nukum" on the title screen instead.

No, it's not *that* Duke Nukem.
