Though the old man character for this one I GENUINELY can't tell what it's supposed to be, looks like a bipedal Goomba or alien. Definitely gonna be on the page here at some point
@Doc von Schmeltwick Mewtwo replaces the original villain from Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu, because both bootlegs ripped from that. Weirdly though only the intro is edited, and the rest of the character's sprites are unchanged
@Local I had assumed as such, I remembered the bootleg with the Chun-li girl who couldn't stop blinking (saw its ending on a YT video a decade or so ago). Does Mewtwo replace a guy who looks like the old man from the original Zelda, while the final boss is a guy who becomes a giant spider?
@Doc von Schmeltwick I'm gonna sound like a deranged person explaining this. but Barve Boy is a bootleg of a bootleg (known as Kung Fu Mari before), and the original character sprite was edited to look like Chun-Li from Street Fighter before this version just pasted a pikachu face over the whole thing. Hence why it looks like this
