I've never played this series, but the animations are really great!
Shortly after MS3's release, SNK went bankrupt and was bought out by Playmore, which caused most of the team to leave the company. afterwards, Playmore needed money so they made MS4 in a rush, being made almost entirely out of slapping together original sprites. MS5 tried to be good and was partly original, but was insanely rushed, so a lot of original graphics remain unused. MS6 made a semi return to form with the series, with lots of original sprites, and MS7/XX took a similar path.
How did MS3 change?
Because the OG Metal Slug was made entirely in the developer's spare time as a passion project, and the team kept that style until MS3
God, why does the Metal Slug series (For Neo Geo) have such good animations? Even as something as small as a MOUSE has smooth(ish) animations!
So who Want some 6-2?
Why is the Rebel Rifle soldier here? He first appeared in Metal Slug 2. Also, what program do I use for the various color palettes?

I notice that the Rebel Planes literally just haven't been ripped yet, even though they're in a large majority of the games

Tetsuyuki, the boss of Mission 1, is noticeably absent. I'll work on fixing that.
I found the bullchan but has the worst graphics in photobucket.
They should add the Bull-chan
