blood is okay, but melting into a pile of gibs is nsfw

i actually don't know why they decide only put the "fuhrer" on the nsfw section because the most of these bosses had a ton of blood

Fun Fact: Several colors in Wolf3D's palette go unused. These include:
* All eight shades of lime green (the final one is used in Spear of Destiny, on one of Wilhelm's death frames)
* The first five shades of purple (also used in SoD, 1 and 2 were replaced with dark green and 3 through 5 were used in Wilhelm's firing animation)
* The first three shades of bright magenta, plus the sixth shade (only shade 6 gets used in SoD, in Wilhelm's firing animation and the AoD's death animation)
Several colors are also duplicated. These include:
* EGA light gray and dark gray, duplicated in the regular grays
* The first shade of red, duplicated in the last shade of bright red
* The first shade of green, duplicated in the last shade of bright green
* The fifth and sixth shades of cyan, duplicated in the fourth and seventh shades of extra cyan
Honorable mentions:
* The last shade of light blue is a near-duplicate of the first shade of blue, only having four extra points of green
* The seventh shade of desaturated cyan is a near duplicate of the eighth shade of desaturated cyan (which comes immediately after it), only having four extra points of green and four extra points of red

@16-Bit Globe My problem is that I can't see Mecha Hitler. The sprite sheet is hidden, even if I turn off the NSFW filter. I checked it a few times and it's off.

@benvlieg he's in the Bosses section, and all his sprites are lumped under Mecha Hitler

I'm having some trouble. I want to use the Hitler sprite sheet but I can't see it. I've checked multiple times and the NSFW filter is turned of. Shouldn't I be able to see it now?

fair.

Blood in and of itself isn't NSFW. Gore on the level seen in Hitler's death is, however.

why are most of these not nsfw? there is literal blood on them and they are not nsfw, like what?

if anyone wants to rip from wolf3d-engine games, just use wdc and export the sprites you need as bmps. if youre working with a vanilla mod or a base game (e.g spear of destiny and its mission packs, any sprite mod for base wolf3d or spear, noahs ark 3d) then use wdc to export the data files as a wad, and use slade to export the graphics as pngs. if youre working with something like spear resurrection you will probably need to use the first method since thats a source modification

@Super Kirby. Hitler is flagged for his gory death animation. You need to turn "View NSFW Content" on to see him.

Kinda odd that y'know, the final boss isn't ripped.

Best bet would be the Wolf3D tools. They can open the other files that XWE can't.

Slade's not the best way to export sprites from Wolf3d's VSWAP files. XWE works good for bulk exporting if you can match up the palette. Otherwise there's a plethora of Wolf3d specific modding tools out there.

how do you rip these? trying to get sprites from a mod but have no idea what to do. SLADE says it supports wolf3d formats, but it doesn't work.

Update: Nevermind i found out how to view the sheet.
