@Terra King. Yeah, they had so many ideas planned when they started and only later did they get made. Though out of ID Software's games, the only series that share the same universe is Commander Keen, Wolfenstein and Doom. (BJ Blazkowicz is Keen's grandfather and Keen himself is said to be Doom Slayer's father or grandfather) They didn't make Quake 1 (Lovecraftian horrors) and 2 (Strogg) a shared universe until 2's remaster with a new secret level confirming they do.
