One weird thing I notice with this incarnation of Super Sonic is that he doesn't have his spine-flickering animation whilst walking. In Sonic 2 and 3, Super Sonic's spines flicker up and down when he walks, but here they're completely static.

@125scratch listen old me was stupid

@MarioMadness734 You NEED to download a special graphics program like paint.net.

@EXEcutor-The-Bat
I like to thank you for noticing that. I've finished updating that sheet base off of your observation.

It's actually eye shading. I believe since there was no real palette alteration for Sonic back when his first game came out, they decided to use part of the blue for his eye shading. An example of this includes the rolling sprites. Since Sonic 2 introduced Super Sonic, they had to change the eye shading to be the gray that you see. For some reason, the gray on his eyes while rolling weren't altered, possibly a visual oversight, like with the bubble gulping sprite.

They changed three out-of-place lightest blue pixels to white, so that could have been fur or eye shading.
I mean the eyes had a more angry look to them in Sonic 1. Sonic 2's eyes were more rounded.

@Altzer The Sonic 2 Sprites had the same eyes as the Sonic 1 sprites.
The difference with these sprites and the sonic 2 ones is that these are styled to be like the Sonic 1 sprites. Sonic has 6 frames of walking, has no spotlight on his head, turns his foot inward when he walks, has more angular eyes, etc.

or use the wayback machine and go onto Sonic 2

InSonicnia, anyone?

Go into Paint, left click whatever color you want to replace, cut the whole sheet, paint bucket down the color you want to replace it with, paste it back in, rinse and repeat. It's not too hard. Unless you have a Mac and therefore don't have Paint, in which case you deserve it to be hard.

Fluff you Doc Melonhead!!

@KBY30 No, I still am. I will send in an update that actually HAS the colors corrected. I guess its the only option I got. EDIT: No, I can't do it! Its too hard!!

@MarioMadness734 Well, I guess you're not working on a Sonic fangame, then.

I am working on a Sonic the Hedgehog fan game, but I don't wanna recolor these manually!!

At least he got the Super Palette. I wouldn't of been able to since I don't know how to get the color values from an .act file. I know Photoshop uses those palette files, but... uh... hi.

@Cavery210: Done.

This should go under Sonic The Hedgehog (Mobile).

Work is hard.
