Oh hey the prebuilt sprite has beta shoes. Fun fact, all Goombas had that detail on their shoes up until very soon before release, which is why some graphics like Frankly's example graphic still has them. Even funnier, the beta shoe design is reflected in Goombella's Smash 4 trophy.
