@Lugiathekingofantartica this error screen is an equivalent to the similar one in Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and is meant to be used when a two-player game gets interrupted for whatever reason

As for why MBM asks to check the link cable, but Puyo is more concerned with the cartridge, I have no idea.
