ok actually hold on, i played it a little more and they did something that i liked A LOT actually, in the second zook game there was this boss called "Quick Response - Yuka" nothing really special, just this bird guy, you fight him, get his power, so on so forth, and in this one, the second boss in the menu is literally a palette swap of Yuka, and at first you'd just think that they did it from laziness and stuff, but when you start his level, his intro text says that it's "a modified combat robot", it's acknowledging that it's the boss from the last game but slightly different but what really gets me is the name they give to him in this game, "Phoenix" BECAUSE IT'S A BIRD AND IT'S BACK DESPITE GETTING BEAT IN THE LAST GAME THAT'S HILARIOUS (and genius too) i love it aaa

don't ever let Sintax get their hands on my zook boy ever again man,,, those physics are TERRIBLE
