It's a Makon Soft game, of course it's gonna suck

@Sonicfan32: they did learn how to make some actually slightly better level design

Why did these bootlegs never make good use of color palettes? (example: why are pipes red and green?)

this is really Super Mario special 3! a triquel to Super Mario Bros Special!

is this game really that bad

This is an ow my eyes kind of game

i can't even play this on BGB emulator (crashes when trying to load a level, patching the undefined opcodes resets the game most of the time but the bottom-left level refuses to work entirely) leading me to think that even if this game had the correct checksum, it probably wouldn't boot either...i'll try another rom tho
edit: tried a 'patched' version... this is horrible but at least it functions now

This bootleg sucks.

I have a faint memory of someone at my elementary school having SMB3 for GameBoy Color and seeing him play it... Maybe this might have been it?

huh

* Sees the colors
* Throws up!
* Throws up!

wheres the enemies

@SupaStarFox That'd be perfectly fine, the GBC is perfectly capable of having graphics that are just like the NES version, just the bootleger's fault for being lazy.

I Actually Like This... And I Was Thinking About Doing A Redesign On Making All Of These Look Just Like The NES Version. If It's Okay With You Guys...

It's more like playing on a Virtual Boy, with all the colors.

My favorite classic "Super Mario" game... Ruined by bootleggers!!!!! ;-;

Bright colors, Cringy music, poor controls.... Yep. This is a bootleg.

The makers of Sonic Adventure 7 clearly learned nothing.

I remember seeing an LP of it. The first level alone has music that will make you want to remove your ears.

Y'know, this game may look a bit shabby here and there, but I think with some work, this could be remade into an actual game (not made by Nintendo, that is. A fangame)!
