is the HP/Boss HP/Weapon Energy thing not a sprite or smth? because i checked every gb game and i cant find it

@Murphmario: The reason for that is because this game was outsourced to a different company than the one who worked on the other four GB Mega Man games and said company had little experience with GB hardware.

Going to point out that this game's tilemaps are some of the most unoptimized ever. As in, the Robot Masters are almost fully assembled in the game's tiles and there's lots of empty space.
