Most of the rips here have a darker palette than they should. It was the emulator/emulator settings that Lotos used, think it was trying to mimic how it looked playing on the GBC rather than the actual palette that the game used. Playing GBC games on an actual GBC do look that due to the screen, the GBC and the original GBA are rather dark.
Yeah, the colors are darker than they should be. I'm pretty sure they aren't like that in-game. It would be nice if somebody fixed the colors.
