Arcade version was an awesome rail shooter by Sega. And funnily enough, Sega has had the Alien and Predator license since 2010. They wisely chose to avoid teaming up with an incompetent third party developer after the Colonial Marines disaster.

Alien 3 Arcade, SNES and Genesis are the best versions (although the arcade is different than the home console versions)

Several different kinds of Alien 3 games were made for different consoles. The generic involved going from level to level and rescuing tied up prisoners before the time ran out. The SNES one was more complex with additional objectives to perform. This one was completely different from all the others and the similarities to the movie were down to the characters, creatures... and that was it, and it worked to the game's benefit. Disregarding what was established and going with it's own ideas, I think this version was the most solid of the bunch.

I mean, an Alien Syndrome ripoff was probably the best thing they could've done for a movie like this.
