Is it bad? I think the music is great for a GBA game, and also Sonic Team put all game elements on the original version into this quick port. I think it's good for a quick port.
Advance style sprites + Advance style music would've made this port, too bad it was made in a matter of weeks.
the only thing this demake gave justice to was green hill's background, because it looked stretched in the original game, here it is squashed and somehow looks better
This game is obviously a port of the mobile game: Sonic the Hedgehog: Part 1 & Part 2 (2005), as this game failed to catch on to viewers during Sonic's anniversary in 2006
ah the game that many people think is one of the worst (if not THE worst) game/remake of a game ever made. Well it was released as the same time as '06, so on that day the franchise got ruined anyway until Mania came out. I still sorta like the game due to it's terrible soundtrack (and that destroying a badnik gives my pokemon EXP), and that I like terrible soundtracks I like playing terrible games too (anything that's not Flash)

didnt know they ported sonic 06 to the gba
