Mario Sprite Maker Fans try not to glaze gba smb3 challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)

this is the better version

Are there sprites for the reading, like the "Saved data is corrupted" screen or the "Formatting saved data" screen?

@GlacialSiren141 "properly gloved"

@Kc64 I don’t think that the Mario Bros game was ripped in any of the other advance games ripped here. You might need to check somewhere else.

@Kc64 the mario bros arcade game was not originally in this game try other games in the advanced series or superstar saga

@Alefy San Sadly no... Super Mario Advance 1 and 2 were made before the Game Boy Player existed and the Gamecube itself for the first game. The only way to have the SNES colors would be for hacks.
Yoshi's Island might but doubtful. SMA4 was a later GBA game so it could offer those options but don't recall many GBA games supporting this feature.

@Murphmario That's really cool! Does it happens with the other 3 Mario Advanced games too?

@Murphmario Huh. That's really interesting.

Apparently in terms of the colors the original SNES colors, or at least ones that are extremely similar, are loaded when the game is played on the Game Boy Player. I might go and rip some of the unique assets from this game with both color palettes.

@Oxiriark
I can understand the audio but sprite quality?? The washed-out colours are pretty much unnoticeable in gameplay and are you actually telling me that SMAS3's barehanded Mario (which is inconsistent with SMAS as a whole and even parts of SMB3 like the minigame sprites) is anywhere near better than a properly gloved Mario?

@GlacialSiren141 The game package is superior, it has some great features, but it cannot defeat the sprite and audio quality of the SNES ?

Where is stuff from mario bros game

@GlacialSiren141 Not really a hot take as you do get the extra content. The only minuses are the resolution and sound due to the GBAs capabilities (and the palette but imagine that there are hacks around to restore that if you prefer the SNES one). The voices are YMMV. Then again the SNES version came with the other Mario games as Super Mario All-Stars (and Super Mario World if you have had it with a bundle making it one of the best collection remakes/remasters/whatever you call it).
The original European version was very disappointing though due to the e-reader support being removed and it was one of the selling points of the game back in the day (along with portable SMB3!) but that re-release that Nintendo had done for all regions on the Wii U that included all the levels and powerups makes this the definitive version.

@GlacialSiren141 That's not a hot take that's just fact, sure the SNES has better sound quality but Advance has way more bonus content like the E-Reader levels and power-ups from the other games you can use in the main game. it also comes with Mario bros. so that's a plus too.

@GlacialSiren141 You're correct

Hot take: This version is superior to the SNES version

color palette would be nice

Does anyone know where to get the color palette for this game??? I don't think there is one here.

Actually, aren't there proper SNES palettes within the game's data that's used when played on a Game Boy Player? If so, these should definitely be ripped.
