Maybe that's how the sprites were in the prototype, and then they realized how much more space would be saved if they seperated his body parts instead of having multiple full body sprites
why only this sheet is not sepereted
I almost forgot this was originally suppose to be Rayman 2 for GBA, honestly wish we got these, not that I hate the modern rayman sprites
