This game definitely took inspiration from Superstar Saga's art style. Which is amazing and looks so cozy and full of charm. This but HD is my ideal aesthetic for general Mario games, and they could adapt this style to 3D for relevant games too. Beats the NSMB aesthetic by a long shot
