i honestly wish these sprites were used as a sort of unlockable but that is just me
So most of these are just lifted from Advance like the placeholder E3 beta sheet, but have had their palettes shifted slightly lighter and there appear to be new sprites here for his surprised reaction to Amy, whose sprites are wholly original to this game.
EDIT: Oh, no the eyes on the running sprites have been edited to look behind him and the bead of sweat was added. I forgot about that.

These are pretty nifty! It's been a long time since I played Sonic Rush, but were the sprites used for loading screens? I was always disappointed how they switched to 3D models for the DS entries.
EDIT: I see someone on another sheet asked and they're supposedly from the ending sequences. Interesting!
