honestly giving credit isnt usually a major hassle so there isnt much reason not to. However i do think if youre gonna rip copyrighted content from games you do sorta forfeit the right to credit. Not only that but required credit can be a bit confusing and annoying if you only use the rips minimally or you use them but then rerip them yourself. generally a bit of a grey area really

If you want so badly to use them without giving credit for the time and effort it takes to rip, go rip them yourself. Better see you crediting the pixel artists from AlphaDream who made these, by name.

@HellJumper_YT: So by your logic, people shouldn't be thanked for doing stuff for you for free? How ungrateful.

This sheet is literally 15 years old. That kind of tag was the norm at the time.

@Helljumper You know sprite ripping can be a month-long pain in the @$$ depending on the size, system, and amount, right?

"Give credit if used"
Ripping sprites doesn't make them yours, so nobody is obligated to credit you for them. Old sprite sheet, I know, but it bugs me when people do that in general.

I'm aware a Black Yoshi appears in the NA Copy of the game but where is there a White Yoshi in the Yoshi Village or is it unused?

Awesome, this is the best Yoshi sprite sheet ever!

Someone who wants to use assets in a game or project but complains about crediting the ripper, unless they are planning to also properly credit the original artists, just shows total laziness and selfishness under the guise of a do-gooder - which, btw, nobody would complain if they were planning to give credit to literally anyone.
Anyways, I'm a little curious why a sheet from... THIS game was the ideal source of criticism... but I digress. I've actually found these more useful than the original upload by someone else, because they're complete and were good reference for my own art.
