Yes! Pizza Hut was one of the big sponsors of the show, but only in Japan. Any references to Pizza Hut (with the exception of Cheese-kun) were removed from the show when it was brought overseas. I suspect this may also be why this game was never released outside of Japan as well.

Pizza Hut is a sponsor (or whatever the right word is) of the anime, so the logo appears on the show itself too.
