Yeah, the sheet does seem larger than necessary, comparing the size of the text and palette to the size of the sprites themselves. Other than that though, these look cool! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
If I have any other critiques, it would be that the "Yay, I won!" sprite looks like it has three pupils kind of. It looks like your intention was probably to make it look like Yoshi's winking, but with how small the sprite itself is, I can't help but look at it incorrectly.
