Well, on the sheet. It was likely incidental in the game itself, since it's literally an upgrade of the Porcupo. The art depicted it as purple, as is the case with Fang, Bumpty, and both types of Little Mouser.
Some of them look off model. Such as the melon bug having thin black antennas, with a beige head, and the Harry Hedgehog has Sonic's shoes. (i know Harry Hedgehog was intended to look like Sonic)
