Ah, "The Hero's Curse". Seems like eons ago when I started hacking Zelda 2 after being inspired by Ice Penguin's "Journey of a Day"
Unfortunately, after almost 15 years THC remains a WIP. Perhaps someday I'll finish it, but until then I wanted to share a little of what I managed to accomplish. First being the Warrior Princess herself, Zelda.
My intention was to capture as much of her original Zelda 2 sprite as possible, while having her mimic Link's appearance and animations as closely as I could while still making her distinct. I must say I think I did fairly well in that regard, and these sprites are compatible with any Zelda 2 ROM.
