@Chikorita Lover That would violate common courtesy.
Wow, this is just amazing. If Nintendo made an NES Breath of the Wild, I'm sure they'd use these sprites!

The blue master sword tunic with no hat and hylian pants is his promotional artwork official set of clothes. Regardless of any previous games, Breath of the Wild Link's "iconic set" is the blue tunic.
Tradition has nothing to do with it, as this is not "All Links" its "Breath of the Wild Link".
Technically speaking though, the master sword tunic is just a modification of Wind Waker Link's lobster tunic.
In any case I applaud the artist for getting the hair to look like anything in so few pixels and a limit of one color.

Last part's still wrong. His most iconic will always be the (here optional) green Peter Pan suit. Regardless of the Link. If he can wear it, it's his most iconic. :P

It's not that far in if you just follow the main story without getting sidetracked. Like, I get what you mean, I got it really late myself and barely ever wore it. But that doesn't change the fact it's officially his main outfit, and certainly his most iconic one.

Pardon me, I haven't been able to play since the school year started, and only got so far anyways. You still don't get it until a ridiculously-far point in the game for it to truly be the "main" one. It's the one in the backstory and marketing, yes, but still, it's not the default like the Kokiri tunic was, and isn't as handy in-game as, say, the climbing implements are. I actually thought the second set here was the same outfit but with a hat equipped.

The second set of sprites is the Gerudo set so calling it "Champion's* Tunic" would make even less sense. Plus there's all these BotW weapons included too.
Besides, the Champion's Tunic is BotW Link's main outfit whether you used it or not, and is likely what first comes to mind for most people. Just like you wouldn't really need to specify "Kokiri Tunic" if you did an OoT-styled Link, and so on.

"BotW style" really doesn't make sense, given the plethora of outfits he can wear in a variety of colors. Shouldn't it be "BotW Hero's Tunic?" I personally didn't even get that thing until after saving the Zoras....

nice! i will use it just for engine testing by now,if i end up using it for a full game,i will make sure to credit you

To test LZBTW they used a simple NES Zelda Engine

@Superjustinbros & @ninetalescommander Thanks!
@Miles07 Hmm, that gives me an idea...

Damn! These are excellent! Well Done!

These sprites look like they're ready for some Hyrule Warriors attention!

Nice sprites!
