Not only that, the pub/bar exclusive versions had their own sponsored brands of beer. (Budweiser for America, and Suntory for Japan)
If there were an Australian port of the beer version, the brands would've likely been Victoria Bitter or Toohey's. (No, not Fosters!)
Also, there was an official follow up for IOS with art by the legendary Don Bluth. Not sure if it's still available though.
Speaking of Wreck-It Ralph. The version in that was still the soda version but kept the protagonist's design from the beer versions.

@SpritZ It's a game. It's an old arcade game where you slide 'soda' down to thirsty patrons. They have a reference to it in "Wreck-It Ralph" and everything.
This is certainly a unique custom sprite sheet.

For 2022, the movie is already 10 years old, and Fix-It Felix Jr. game has been 40 years for his universe.
To clarify a bit, in his cameo he was the Budweiser version in the Root Beer edition.
