Sonic X's animator's clearly wanted to do a mecha series, hence for example how weird and blocky Eggman's robots tended to look. And Tails' fighter jet/space shuttle thing here.

@Turbo Thunderbolt I remember seeing the progress in the old forums we had. Never understood why they replaced the Tornado with this out of place thing.
