@SmithyGCN Archie sonic did have the issue of introducing alot of needless or redundant characters, though. At a rate higher than most comic books. It was very rare for a single character to be introduced; it was often groups of four or more being added to existing groups with barely any individuals given any importance beyond being a person of authority to undermine the main cast. It took them over a decade before they decided to flesh any of those characters out and they still barely got anything before the reboot happened.

Having a LOT of characters happens with long running comic series. I don't see anyone complaining about that issue with Spider-Man. And don't say "he's a game character" argument. The games did little to flesh out his character except that he was a stereotypical shonen hero. XD

To show how unoriginal Penders is even more. The "horse" is straight up ripped off from Thundarr the Barbarian

In the cartoon, they're a post-apocalyptic new species called an Equort. (Basically an arthropod mutated with a horse)

Sonic comic has too many characters

It's called Thunder, a Streaking Pasha.

I think Julie-su rode it in like, one issue.

I don't remember the horse.

Almost didn't see Archy, there.
