Hmm... If I'm not mistaken... I've seen these sprites before on a fan character, Kaitos the Hedgehog exactly. I never thought I'd find the original sheet but I'm glad I did.

Ah, that makes sense.
@Grinder74 this was quite common back then, as customs/edits were often made with sprite comics, such as this one, in mind.

@TheMorningFlash15: Indeed. Pretty sure if I'm correct that this is the same Super Mario Bros Z spritesheet that was used in the movie.
This is giving me so many SMBZ flashbacks.
