@Robot-Mario not necessarily, as the original coin was just a 1up replacement for Anniversary Mode and isn't a standalone object, similarly using some other colors that aren't the usual ring colors

Would it be fine if I were to make a mod for Sonic 1 Forever that replaces the rings with these? I'll also give credit, obviously.

@Speems At least they're patching the game soon after listening to the feedback. And I'm just as tired of people shitting on the compilation for minor reasons.
As for the movie you mentioned, Sony themselves considers it an embarrassment now. Doesn't help the director is a manbaby who can't take valid criticism.
But enough mumbling. The coin turned out great. I could imagine them being hidden in certain spots in levels if they did that instead of replacing 1UP monitors.

It's just mainly people would be doin the usual already-dead-horse copypastas and outbursts related to Origins' quality in a fashion similar to when anyone hears the phrase "ghostbusters 2016" at this point. Thanks tho
I don't see why anyone would get mad. I think these sprites look pretty cool.
Aight so these are made from scratch based on the actual HUD sprite in Origins. Pink frames are the usuals, cyan for 2013 spin frames. Sparkle frames can be the usual ones, similarly with the HUD marker being workshopped from the standard Score/Time/Rings text. Now that it's cleared up, let's see how long it'll take for people to get mad or whatever...
