this is good, but the arm for the second frame of the "peelout/dash" animation isn't layered correctly

They make me think of Sonic 1's sprites with MCSonic's colors. Nice job on these!
I'd say that'd be a little out of character for Super Sonic, seeing as he's often shown to be fearless and ready (and understandably so, seeing as he's...well...Super!)

it is intentional, he is a bit surprised, like normal sonic.
I noticed that Super Sonic's pupils change size the Labyrinth pipe cling animation (unless that was intentional?), but other than that, these are really good!
