@amogussus69 uhm both sonic 1 and cd have 6 frame walk animations.
this is clearly made for cd because the walk cycle is 6 sprites

One thing that bugs me is the shoes on the dashing sprites. They shouldn't use the skin tone as they aren't moving as quickly as on the normal running animation.
I like these sprites, but I don't know how I feel about the shine on his stomach. I thought that was a Sonic 2-exclusive thing, kinda like the weird-looking shoes on the transforming sprites.
These sprites also remind me of the sprites for S3 Super Sonic from Sonic 3 Complete in a way... Maybe perhaps one day, someone could make a ROM hack called Sonic 1 Complete, although almost nothing would change (except for being able to have Super Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles as playable characters, and having difficulty options from Sonic Jam)...
If Sonic Mania still had the "I'm outta here!" animation in-game (and I mean in actual gameplay), then I'm pretty sure that when Sonic is Super Sonic, then Sonic might be a Yellow Sonic...
@Greenknight9000 its because thats how it was in Sonic 1 mobile, which the sonic 2 super sonic idle, which was like that
also when people make super sonic, why not make the spines like S2, cause they S2 sprites ae mainly reshades of S1

HOLY DAMN THIS IS INCREDIBLE!
It makes me so happy we got some Sonic CD-Exclusive sprites made for Super Sonic now! The only thing I could suggest being improved on is the Peelout sprites (they just seem a little too "still", with only Super Sonic's left leg moving) and many of the sprites don't show him all buffed up, using the standard arms that Regular Sonic uses.
Other than that, I say this is a spectacular job!
