With a name like this, it's almost as if Sega was inviting what was to come almost 20 years later...
and I thought Sonic was a kids game :)
For a second, I thought that this was a custom character. Good to know he's an enemy in an official game.
He reminds me of the red wolf avatar from Sonic Forces. Both are pretty cute!

They changed his name to "Falke" in the Archie comics because of "Focke" sounding too similar to the F-Word to American ears despite actually being a common German name. In fact, he's named after a (Now defunct) German aircraft manufacture!

He later on made a name for himself somewhat in the Archie Comics.
He's from Tails Skypatrol, a rail shooter game for the Game Gear only released in Japan but eventually made it to the west thanks to the Sonic Gems Collection and Sonic Adventure DX.
