@SMM123 Well it'd be hard to get all the variants in following it to a T, this still takes in all hardware constraints and uses the proper palette system. Also, using transparency for black is what they did for Bowser's cuffs, so that's similar at least.

This isn't exactly SMB1 styled, though this is still a neat sheet

But they didn't do that in SMB1, which is what this is based off. Actually, this layers about as much as SMB3's Troopas, since I'm using multiple palettes all at once. Most places with him would use black backgrounds anyways, like with Bowser's cuffs in SMB1.

Actually you could, considering that some "sprites" in SMB3 were actually multiple stacked on top of each other, making it seem like they had more than 3 colors. It's a little something called "layering"

@Omega Couldn't use black for transparency because the wrecking ball and flame dropper have a black outline XD
