@Zeoinx: Not necessarily! While the Advance Wars games were the first ones that ended up being translated and released worldwide (which is what most of us are familiar with), this series goes way back to the Famicom (where it was called, naturally, Famicom Wars) and Game Boy (as Game Boy Wars) days, and by extent the Battalion Wars games are also considered part of the same series in Japan as well. So because of the inconsistent series naming, most of the fanbase considers "Nintendo Wars" to be the accepted series title in general. Or just "Wars", but that's kinda plain in comparison.

Isnt this series called "Advanced Wars" Not Nintendo Wars?
