ridley but we forgot to be original and just made him a xenomorph

@Murphmario Honestly, there was so little to the sprites themselves I could probably recreate it out of just the thumbnail.
EDIT: Oh, wow, every frame was in that thumbnail. No need to totally recreate them.

@ProtoTroid X Was it on Metroid Fan Mission? If so, I might still have the sheet.
Edit: Unfortunatly, all I could find of them was the thumbnail on Wayback Machine.

I did one for NES Manual Art Metroids, a long time ago, but unfortunately I don't have that sheet anymore.

Boy, imagine if they kept Ridley like that instead of the pterosaur-dragon thing he's known to be.
Amazing job on these though. It's always fun when people make official art-accurate sprites.

I'm not going to lie, I've always hated the manual art Ridley and I have never understood the praise I've seen it get for being "more alien." It's a generic dragon body with a discount Xenomorph head, it's no more unique than what he became. Nonetheless, it was fun to work out how it might have worked as a sprite.
