i think this arrangement is so you can add the wily logo at the bottom so it doesnt replace the mega man portrait

Yeah I don't know why you went with this. The arrangement in the original MM1 was fine. All you would do is replace the sprites with the mug shots and call ti done.
All I'd do is remove the Dr. Light logo and replace it with another "Push Start" suggestion, or add Time Man and Oil Man.
