What's a custom smb1 Luigi sprite sheet that looks so good, it looks official?

Burning take: I prefer the original NES palette over the GBC version

i think the palette used here is inspired by the Super Mario Bros Deluxe luigi pallete

Awesome!

@ittan-momen thats how the original game handles the animation for small mario/luigi

yeah i dont really test the gifs before i make them

of the icon:
Small Luigi looks like he's running backwards
while big Luigi is doing some sort of whimsical clapping dance.

I think LeoPlaysYT's tale on Luigi feels the most accurate to the overall style of Super Mario Bros. He doesn't stray too far away from his brother's design, but at the same time looks distinct enough to pass off as the Luigi we all know and love while still keeping the frame limitations, like ValisEmma's version which might come in second. My only complaint about ValisEmma's Luigi design is that it uses the Game Boy Color version's green-brown color palette as opposed to the original white-green palette seen in the original NES release, which I honestly prefer more. There are tons of great reimaginings of Luigi in Super Mario Bros, but I think Emma and Leo's takes might be my favorites.
