I'm pretty sure it's been called lava bubble official for over a decade now by Nintendo in all games. I still think podoboo is better though

I'm always calling these Lava Bubbles. Podoboo was a name invented by English localization. And I've always preferred Lava Bubble as the name, since it's more faithful to the Japanese name.
