I think it might be the eye shine and the teeth that sets people off. Other than that, this depiction of Peach isn't too bad.

Well, this is based in a model to fit with the terrible poses of SMB1, but the problem (Or the huge problem) Instead just making her fit with the terrible SMB1 style, it would be nice making her look good at the same time, idk what should i say of the smile, or scare or laugh

@Rakoon CD Easy. Dress and crown: Same as current skin and crown tone; Hair and detail: Same as logo, blocks etc.; Skin tone: Same "flesh" tone as logo font. Exactly like Peach Edition.

@Spiritz I did plan for Daisy as the same sprites Luigi-style, But I couldn't find a good palette to fit her.

About time! I've been waiting for a good playable Peach/Daisy like this (with sprites for all Mario/Luigi actions and visible legs).

Only the white eyes and teeth shouldn't be there, and the smile should be reduced. Her body should also be thinner than the Brothers' sprites. Besides those, it's actually quite nice (though I do prefer the AwesomeZack one, now that I've seen it).

This is crazy. I started working on an SMB Peach sprite recently.

I find these sprites to be quite well made, keep in mind it's hard to make sprites like this look on model with the limited palette. So please don't be overly critical towards this person or their artwork. They're doing their best and their final product turned out good in the end.

I would like to share some ideas, though! Here's some that I have for this sprite sheet:

The invincibility palettes would be nice, and maybe an Daisy sprite sheet eventually. I think that would be cool.

You know what I'm tired of? Comments that say things like "this sheet imitating a crappy-yet-iconic style looks crappy!" or "there's a different one in the crappy style that looks not-crappy!" That is like those allegedly "MLSS-style" sheets that are perfectly on-model recreations of the entity in question while paying no mind to how the actual source material stylized things. The fact is, SMB1's character sprites were terrible, and this captures it perfectly, and does it skillfully so.
TLDR: Please stop it with the needless negativity. This happens again and again and always just ends with a mod having to come in and tell everyone to stop being mean.
